What does Sproutly offer?

Sproutly brings fresh, organic, and handcrafted healthy meals to your doorstep every Sunday across the San Francisco Bay Area.

Each dish is prepared locally with care, right down to our weekly house-made dressings: no machines, no shortcuts, and absolutely no preservatives.

We’re here to nourish your body with wholesome meals and free up your time, so you can focus on living a healthier, happier life.

How do I place an order?

You need to place a subscription order that you can cancel at any time. There is no minimum commitment. You can also skip weeks when you dont need it, adjust the quantity week by week based on your needs, and select meals from our rotating weekly menu.

How does the subscription work?

You can access your subscription by logging into your Sproutly account or by a direct link sent to your email when you subscribed.

Please select mealsby Wednesday at 9:00 PM for delivery on the upcoming Sunday.

Can I place an order without subscribing?

Not at the moment—Sproutly is a subscription-based service to keep your healthy meals coming consistently.

How can I change my future deliveries, such as selecting meals, skipping a week, or canceling?

Super simple! After your first order, you’ll get an email with access to your customer portal. From there, you can:

✔ View past and upcoming orders

✔ Select your meals

✔ Skip a week

✔ Pause or cancel your plan

Can I choose the meals I like?

Absolutely! With every subscription, you can choose your meals from our weekly rotating menu. We continually introduce new flavors to keep things fresh. You can also adjust your quantity each week based on your needs.

What happens if I forget to make a selection by Wednesday night?

We auto-curate your order by using your last placed order to determine the quantity and type of meals.

Where do you deliver?

We currently deliver to most places within the Bay Area. If you don’t see your city listed, reach out—we’ll do our best to help!

When do you deliver?

Every Sunday! We may expand to more delivery days in the future—feel free to share your preferences through our Contact Us page.

Do you offer a pickup option?

Nope, Sproutly is a delivery-only service.

What can I expect on delivery day?

Your meals will arrive in insulated cooler bags with ice packs to keep them fresh and maintain their quality. Here’s how delivery works:

✔ You’ll get a text notification 30 minutes before arrival and another right after delivery.

Heads up! Please ensure that your address, unit number, phone number, and any special instructions (e.g. gate code) are provided as part of the checkout process.  If we're unable to complete the delivery due to missing info, the order will still be considered fulfilled. We’ll always try to call or text before leaving!

Do I need to be home to accept delivery?

No. Our meals are delivered in thermal bags with ice to maintain freshness, and the bag will be left in the best possible spot at your delivery address. We also send text updates and a tracking link, so you’ll know exactly when they arrive.

What if I’m away for a long time on delivery day?

If you won’t be home for a long time, please let us know ahead of time. Many customers provide an alternative drop-off location, such as a neighbor’s address, so the meals aren’t sitting outside for too long.

Do you offer catering for offices or events?

Yes! Our catered meal delivery is perfect for offices, events, and family gatherings. Whether it’s lunch for a team meeting or a special celebration, Sproutly makes it easy to serve fresh, healthy meals that everyone will love.

How do I place a large order?

For big orders, reach out to us directly at hello@mysproutly.com. We’ll help curate the perfect menu for your group, and larger orders get special discounts!

Are your ingredients organic?

We use organic ingredients whenever possible, including fresh fruits, vegetables, legumes, and proteins. While our salads aren’t certified organic, we never use GMOs, processed sugars, preservatives, or artificial additives.

Do you accommodate food allergies?

Our facility processes soy, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, seafood, shellfish, eggs, and pork. If you have a severe allergy, we do not recommend our service due to the risk of cross-contact.

That said, our meals are dairy-free, egg-free, gluten-free, and free from refined sugars, artificial sweeteners, preservatives, additives, and dyes. You can check the full ingredient list for each meal on our website and on the labels of the boxed meals.

Where can I find calorie and nutrition info?

Each meal comes with complete nutritional details, including calories, protein, fiber, and more. You can find this information on our website and meal labels.

What is your philosophy for meals?

We prioritize plant-based ingredients and emphasize a whole-food approach in our meals. While we don't design meals specifically for restrictive diets, many of our customers choose our meals to support their health goals, such as managing cholesterol, weight, or blood sugar levels, or to follow dietary preferences like gluten-free, vegan, or dairy-free.

We aim to make healthy eating both enjoyable and sustainable. Diets often fail due to short-term restrictions, prompting people to revert to old habits. By combining global flavors with whole-food nutrition, we keep meals exciting, ensuring our customers enjoy eating well in the long term.

How are meals packaged?

Your meals arrive in sealed,food-grade, BPA-free, and recyclable plastic containers.

Is your packaging recyclable?

Yes! Our containers, thermal cooler bags, and ice packs are 100% recyclable. We also reuse ice packs and bags—just leave them out on your next delivery day, and we’ll take care of the rest!

How long do Sproutly meals last?

Each meal is marked with a "Best By" date, indicating the optimal period for freshness and quality. Since our meals are freshly prepared without added preservatives, they have a shorter shelf life compared to heavily processed supermarket options. We recommend consuming meals by the "Best By" date, typically within 4–5 days after delivery. This date is a guideline for quality, not safety, and may vary due to seasonal changes in ingredients.

To ensure optimal freshness and safety, we recommend consuming your meals in the following order:

  1. Fish-Based Meals: Consume within 1-3 days of delivery, as seafood is highly perishable.
  2. Chicken-Based Meals: Consume within 3–4 days.
  3. Vegan Meals: Consume within 4–5 days.

Always store meals promptly in the refrigerator upon delivery.

Is your packaging recyclable?

Our meals are currently packaged in recyclable plastic containers. To ensure proper recycling, please rinse containers to remove any food residue. Removing labels can further aid the recycling process, though local guidelines may vary.

We're actively exploring eco-friendly packaging alternatives that are durable, moisture-resistant, and cost-effective. Thank you for supporting our efforts to transition to more sustainable packaging solutions.

We also collect our thermal bags (which are also 100% recyclable) and ice packs after every use.
